City of Fremont's official project page confirms a Site Development Plan adding 4 new lighted pickleball courts plus a dog park at Vallejo Mill Historical Park; construction began Aug 25, 2025. As of the city's April 16, 2026 project update, the park remains closed for reconstruction with reopening still pending (pit toilet/electrical work anticipated spring/summer 2026), so status is coming-soon, not yet open.
