Davis County News (Davis Journal) reported in Dec. 2021 that Bountiful's Washington Park Master Plan (built on the site of the former Washington Elementary School, along 740 South) was approved, and in July 2022 that a construction contract (~$3.9M, Launch Construction) was awarded with a base bid including six pickleball courts, a pavilion, restrooms, and a new parking lot. A 2024 'Washington Park Spring Classic' pickleball tournament listing indicates the courts were operational by 2024.
