Pickleball Courts in Frankford, DE

Frankford's biggest free public build is at John M. Clayton Elementary School — ten dedicated, lighted outdoor courts maintained by the First State Pickleball Club in partnership with the school, confirmed by local paper the Coastal Point when the courts were dedicated. That's more courts than the town's indoor club: Factory Sports Frankford runs six indoor courts inside a 22,500-square-foot facility with stadium seating, a scoreboard and sound system, hosting DUPR-rated events plus a Monday evening social play session (7–9pm) and daytime open play. The rest of Frankford's pickleball is inside residential developments near the Delaware beaches — The Estates at Bridgewater, Forest Landing at Bethany Beach and The Estuary all list courts as homeowner or resident amenities through their respective builders (Schell Brothers, Ryan Homes, and NVHomes/Ryan Homes/Beazer, respectively), not open to outside visitors.
