Palmetto's only genuinely public pickleball courts are at Blackburn Tennis and Pickleball Courts, a city facility next to the Armory on 14th Avenue West — free, though the city hasn't published an exact court count. Everything else in town is private-community amenity space: Terra Ceia Bay Country Club built lighted pickleball courts adjacent to its Har-Tru clay tennis courts as a members' perk, Bradenton Yacht Club offers courts to members and their visitors at its waterfront property, and two 55+ RV resorts, The Tides and The Surf, both list pickleball among general on-site amenities without publishing court counts or member-versus-guest access rules. If you don't belong to one of these clubs or resorts, Blackburn is the one place in Palmetto to actually walk up and play.
