Last reviewed 12 August 2026 against every venue's primary source on file (data/courts.json, live). We list 21 pickleball venues in Henderson — 20 open, 1 (DINKERS Indoor Pickleball) not yet open — totaling 117+ confirmed courts at the 18 venues that publish a number. 15 of the 21 carry our verified stamp; the other 6 areneeds-verification, mostly because a homeowners-association or senior-center site doesn't publish a court count. Two records we deliberately leave out of this guide are named in "What we're not counting" below, along with why.
Henderson runs a dense, three-tier pickleball system that looks different from most cities in this dataset. The City of Henderson itself operates seven free outdoor park locations with dedicated courts, spread from the historic Water Street District out to Inspirada in the southwest, plus three paid recreation and senior centers. Layered on top is a genuinely distinctive pattern for a city this size: three separate age-restricted or HOA master-planned communities — Sun City Anthem, Sun City MacDonald Ranch, and Anthem Country Club — each run their own pickleball program behind a membership or residency requirement, a direct result of Henderson's large stock of 55+ retirement communities. And on top of that sits a genuine cluster of purpose-built commercial clubs — Chicken N Pickle, The Picklr, Dill Dinkers, and Lake Las Vegas Sports Club — four of which carry real, current Google ratings, enough for this city to clear our bar for a merit-based Best pickleball clubs in Henderson ranking.
The short answer for each type of player
- You want free, dedicated outdoor courts and don't want to drive far. Mission Hills Park (551 E Mission Dr, 89002) has the most courts of any free location — 8 outdoor courts, lit until midnight. Black Mountain Pickleball Park (599 Greenway Rd, 89015) is the newest, opened October 2025 as Henderson's 77th park, with 6 dedicated lit courts.
- You want guaranteed indoor play with air conditioning. The Picklr - Henderson (Green Valley, 11 indoor courts, membership) and Dill Dinkers - Henderson (Warm Springs corridor, 11 ProCushion indoor courts, paid membership) are the two dedicated indoor clubs. The city's own Downtown Recreation Center and Silver Springs Recreation Center offer cheaper indoor drop-in play by the session ($5–8) if you don't want a membership.
- You want food, drinks, and courts in one trip. Chicken N Pickle - Henderson (St Rose Pkwy, near Anthem) runs 14 courts — 6 indoor, 8 outdoor covered — with a 4.3★ Google rating across 832 reviews, by far the most-reviewed pickleball venue in Henderson.
- You're visiting a 55+ community or staying with someone who lives in one. Henderson has three residents/members-only programs worth knowing exist even if you can't walk on: Sun City Anthem Pickleball Club (16 courts, the largest single facility in the city), Sun City MacDonald Ranch, and Anthem Country Club.
- You want the highest-rated club, full stop. Dill Dinkers - Henderson carries a 5.0★ Google rating, though on a small base (8 reviews as of our last refresh). Among venues with a meaningful review count, The Picklr - Henderson and Lake Las Vegas Sports Club both sit at 4.8★. See our merit-ranked Best clubs page for the full Bayesian-weighted ranking — never pay-to-rank.
Free City of Henderson park courts
The City of Henderson Parks & Recreation Department runs seven free, dedicated outdoor pickleball locations across the city, all confirmed against the department's own facility directory. Every location below is lit and open daily; reservations run through the city's WebTrac system at $8/hour/court, but walk-on play is free and first-come-first-served at all seven.
| Park | Address | Area | Courts | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mission Hills Park | 551 E Mission Dr, 89002 | North Henderson | 8 outdoor | Lit until midnight; portable nets |
| Black Mountain Pickleball Park | 599 Greenway Rd, 89015 | East Henderson | 6 outdoor | Opened Oct 15, 2025 — Henderson's 77th park |
| Whitney Mesa Tennis & Pickleball Complex | 1661 Galleria Dr, 89014 | Central Henderson | 4 dedicated outdoor | Near the Galleria at Sunset; additional dual-purpose stadium courts |
| Montagna Park (Inspirada) | 3495 Via Altamira, 89044 | Inspirada, SW Henderson | 4 outdoor | Henderson's 73rd park, opened May 2024 |
| Blooming Cactus Park | 410 Grand Cadence Dr, 89011 | Cadence, NE Henderson | 2 outdoor | Henderson's 74th park, opened Jan 16, 2025 |
| Cadence Central Park | 1125 E Sunset Rd, 89011 | Cadence, NE Henderson | 2 outdoor | Open to the public despite sitting inside the Cadence master-planned community |
| Dundee Jones Park | 10550 Jeffreys St, 89052 | South Henderson | 2 outdoor | Splash pad and dog park on site |
One additional free-access record, Siena Heights Trailhead (2570 Siena Heights Dr, 89052), lists 3 outdoor courts per a third-party directory, but it doesn't appear on the city's own current pickleball facility page and an older source notes play there "has moved to dedicated courts at Whitney Mesa and Black Mountain." We're keeping the record — the courts likely still exist — but flagging it needs-verification rather than treating it as equivalent to the seven above.
Paid city recreation and senior centers
Three more City of Henderson facilities offer indoor pickleball on a pay-per-session or Participant ID basis — cheaper than a club membership, but not free walk-on like the parks above.
- Downtown Recreation Center (50 E Van Wagenen St, 89015) — 3 indoor wood courts, Old Town Henderson. $5/session residents, $7 non-residents, $3 for ages 60+, free with a Henderson Activity Card. Pickleball hours 8:30am–12:30pm unless the gym is reserved for another program.
- Silver Springs Recreation Center (1951 Silver Springs Pkwy, 89074) — 3 indoor courts, $8/hour/court reservation. Mon–Thu 6am–8pm, Fri 6am–6pm, Sat closed, Sun 9am–3pm.
- Henderson Multigenerational Center (250 S Green Valley Pkwy, 89012) — 6 outdoor courts, $8/hour/court reservation, Mon–Thu 6am–8pm, Fri 6am–6pm, Sat 9am–3pm, closed Sunday.
- Heritage Park Senior Facility (300 S Racetrack Rd, 89015) — indoor pickleball at this 50+ center; a Participant ID ($25/yr adults, free for 60+ and veterans) is required. Court count is not published on the city's own page, so this record stays
needs-verificationon that field.
Henderson's 55+ and HOA pickleball scene
This is the pattern that sets Henderson apart from most cities in our dataset. Henderson is home to several of the Las Vegas valley's largest age-restricted master-planned communities, and each of the three below runs a real, active pickleball program that isn't open to the general public — you need to be a resident, a member, or a guest of one.
- Sun City Anthem Pickleball Club (2211 Somersworth Dr, 89044) — 16 courts at the community's "Liberty Courts" facility, the largest single pickleball site in Henderson. Courts 7–8 are reserved for Sun City Anthem HOA residents; courts 1–6 and 9–16 require Pickleball Club membership on top of residency. Open Mon–Sun 7am–9pm, confirmed on the club's own site.
- Sun City MacDonald Ranch (2020 W Horizon Ridge Pkwy, 89012) — pickleball courts in the community club area alongside tennis, bocce, and horseshoes, residents-only. We've been unable to pull a court count from the HOA's own site across three separate checks (it appears to be image- or PDF-driven rather than in the page's HTML) — a genuine dead end for a members-gated community site, not a gap in our effort.
- Anthem Country Club (1 Club Side Dr, 89052) — a private club program the site itself describes as active with "250+ players" and weekly leagues; the club's own page confirms pickleball is real and popular but doesn't publish hours, court count, or membership pricing.
If you're not a resident or member of one of these three communities, treat them as background context on why Henderson's pickleball culture is unusually deep for a city of ~330,000 — not as venues you can walk on to.
Commercial clubs — the venues with real Google ratings
Four Henderson venues are confirmed against a primary source and carry a real, freshness-checked Google rating (Places API only, refreshed within the last 90 days, per our ratings policy) — enough for Henderson to clear the bar for a merit-based ranking page.
| Venue | Address | Access | Courts | Google rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chicken N Pickle - Henderson | 3381 St Rose Pkwy, 89052 | Paid, public | 14 (6 indoor, 8 outdoor covered) | 4.3★ (832 reviews) |
| The Picklr - Henderson | 1450 W Horizon Ridge Pkwy Ste 435, 89012 | Membership | 11 indoor | 4.8★ (149 reviews) |
| Lake Las Vegas Sports Club | 101 Via Vin Santo, 89011 | Membership, guest days | 10 outdoor | 4.8★ (75 reviews) |
| Dill Dinkers - Henderson | 1221 W Warm Springs Rd, 89014 | Paid membership | 11 indoor (6 regulation, 5 championship) | 5.0★ (8 reviews) |
Chicken N Pickle has, by a wide margin, the most reviews of any Henderson pickleball venue — its 4.3★ across 832 reviews reflects a restaurant-and-entertainment crowd as much as a dedicated pickleball one. Dill Dinkers' 5.0★ is real but sits on only 8 reviews, so treat it as an early, thin signal rather than a settled verdict; it opened in April 2026. A fifth club, Life Time Athletic Green Valley (121 Carnegie St, 89052, 8 outdoor courts, Signature Membership), is verified on every other field but doesn't yet carry a fetched Google rating tied specifically to its pickleball program.
We don't sell placement on this list or on the ranked Best pickleball clubs in Henderson page — it's ordered by a Bayesian-weighted score built from real rating and review-volume data, the same method used across the site.
Opening soon: DINKERS Indoor Pickleball
DINKERS Indoor Pickleball (716 S Boulder Hwy, 89002) is a membership indoor facility that, per its own site, targeted a June 2026 opening with founding-tier membership at $89/month. As of our last check (June 13, 2026) the operator's site still described itself as "coming to Henderson" rather than confirming an open date, and we have not independently re-confirmed since — so treat June 2026 as the operator's own target, not a guarantee, and check dinkerslv.com directly before planning a visit around it.
What we're not counting
Two records tied to Henderson pickleball don't appear in the counts or tables above, and we're naming both rather than quietly dropping them:
- Aventura Park (2525 Via Firenze, 89044) shows up in some third-party directories with 2 pickleball courts, but the City of Henderson's own facility page for Aventura Park lists its amenities — ball field, basketball court, dog park, tennis courts, volleyball courts — without pickleball among them. We checked this twice (most recently against the same official page) and found no first-party confirmation pickleball exists there, so we're leaving it out rather than repeating what looks like a directory error.
- A second record describing "Black Mountain Recreation Center Pickleball Courts" at the same address as Black Mountain Pickleball Park (599 Greenway Rd) appears to be the same 6-court facility described twice under different names in our source data. We've merged it into the single Black Mountain Pickleball Park listing above rather than double-count one park as two venues; the underlying duplicate data record is flagged for our data team to clean up.
What still needs verification
Of the 21 venues in this guide, 15 are confirmed against a primary source and 6 are not. The gap breaks into two honest categories: HOA/senior-center sites (Sun City MacDonald Ranch, Heritage Park, Anthem Country Club) that confirm pickleball is real and active but don't publish a court count or hours on a page we can read, and two park-adjacent records (Siena Heights Trailhead, and DINKERS pre-opening) where the underlying facts may simply change before our next pass. We're not aware of any fabricated fields in this list — every address, court count, and access rule traces to a specific source cited in the record, and where a source doesn't give us a number, we say so.
How this guide was built
All facts in this guide come from data/courts.json, our verified dataset built from primary sources — the City of Henderson's own facility directory, each club's own website, and each HOA/community association's own site — not third-party court aggregators. The Court Scout takes no advertising for rankings on this page; see our About page for the full integrity policy.
