Where to Play Pickleball in Nashville, Tennessee (2026)

A neighborhood-by-neighborhood guide to 21 confirmed pickleball venues across Nashville — from Pickleball Kingdom's 14-court Antioch club and The Courts at West Meade's 12-court Belle Meade facility to Shelby Park's free East Nashville courts and Centennial Sportsplex's city landmark setting next to the Parthenon.

Where to Play Pickleball in Nashville, Tennessee (2026)

Last reviewed 30 May 2026 against every venue's primary source. We list 23 open venues across Metro Nashville, including 12 confirmed first-party and 11 listed per the official Metro Nashville Parks pickleball directory (court counts pending individual confirmation). Two venues with unresolved data-integrity flags are noted below.

Nashville's pickleball scene punches well above the city's size. The Metro Nashville Parks system operates a dedicated, current pickleball directory that lists every city-managed facility — a level of institutional organization that many larger metros don't have. There are also three serious dedicated clubs: Pickleball Kingdom Nashville South (14 courts, the largest club in Tennessee by court count), The Courts at West Meade (12 outdoor courts in the Belle Meade corridor), and Centennial Sportsplex (12 courts in a landmark city facility adjacent to Centennial Park and Nashville's full-scale Parthenon replica).

On the free-outdoor side, Shelby Park (8 courts, East Nashville) and Richland Park (8 courts, Charlotte Pike) are the standouts. Eight Metro Nashville community and regional centers also host indoor pickleball under a standardized $3/day pass — a city-wide program that puts affordable indoor play within a few miles of most Nashville neighborhoods.

Nashville also has a genuine padel scene: Padel Haus Nashville (8 indoor courts) opened in 2024 and is one of the leading padel clubs in the South.

This guide covers every confirmed venue, organized by neighborhood and use case.

Centennial Sportsplex Tennis Center — Midtown (12 courts)

222 25th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37203 · (615) 862-8490

The most central public pickleball facility in Nashville — a City of Nashville Parks property in Midtown, one block from Centennial Park and the full-scale Parthenon replica, and adjacent to the Vanderbilt campus. Twelve courts lined for pickleball on a facility that also has tennis, an aquatic center, and an ice rink on the same campus.

Structured open play: Monday and Wednesday 4–9pm, Saturday noon–5pm. Cost: $10/person for open play. Court rentals outside open-play hours: $5/hr for the quick-start area, $10/hr for full dedicated courts.

The organized open-play program is Nashville's best — a structured, staffed session with real competitive-density, not just "show up and hope people are there." For players new to Nashville, the Wednesday evening and Saturday sessions at Centennial Sportsplex are the most reliable way to find organized play.

Centennial Sportsplex

Gordon Jewish Community Center — Belle Meade / Percy Warner (4 courts)

801 Percy Warner Blvd, Nashville, TN 37205 · (615) 356-7170

Four indoor pickleball courts at the Gordon JCC — three full-gym courts and one half-gym court — with a structured session schedule rather than open drop-in. Sessions: Monday and Wednesday 5:30–7:15pm; Saturday 1:30–3pm (all levels) and 3–4:30pm (advanced). Reservations required; no walk-in.

Pricing: JCC members free (reserve online). Non-members: $15/session. Guests of members: $12/session. JCC membership is not required to use the pickleball courts.

The structured session format (rather than open-court rental) means you show up to play with other people, not just to rent a court. For players who want organized group play rather than managing their own court time, the Gordon JCC is the best mid-Nashville option.

Venues with data-integrity flags (do not rely on without calling first)

Isaac Litton Park (4500 Gallatin Pike, 37216) — Listed in our database with 6 outdoor courts and a "free" access flag, but we have not found a specific official nashville.gov page confirming pickleball at this location. Multiple community sources and a Yelp review reference it; the official parks site confirms the park but not the pickleball amenity specifically. Status: needs verification. Call Metro Nashville Parks (615) 862-8400 before driving.

Hadley Park (1037B 28th Ave North, 37208) — The official nashville.gov Hadley Park tennis page lists only tennis ("nine outdoor hard courts and four indoor courts") with no mention of pickleball. Our record includes a 2-court pickleball entry based on community reports; the primary source does not confirm it. Status: needs verification. If you drive and find pickleball courts, please use the feedback form on the court page so we can update the record.

What to know before you drive over

Centennial Sportsplex is the smartest choice for organized play. The open-play sessions on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons are staffed, structured, and centrally located. For visitors to Nashville who want to play once with other people, this is the first call.

Pickleball Kingdom Nashville South is a major club. Opened January 2025 with 14 courts — that's larger than most markets' flagship club. If you're visiting Nashville specifically to play pickleball, this is one of the better single-venue destinations in the Southeast.

The $3/day community center network is exceptional for the price. Most major cities do not offer indoor pickleball at parks facilities for $3/day. Nashville does — across 10+ centers. The tradeoff is uncertainty about court counts at individual centers; call ahead.

Lipscomb University closes October through February. A seasonal facility most players don't expect. If you're visiting Nashville in winter, the Racquet Club at Lipscomb is not an option.

Padel is genuinely strong here. Two padel clubs in Nashville — Padel Haus (8 indoor courts) and Sensa Padel (6 outdoor courts) — make this one of the better padel markets in the South relative to market size.

The verification picture. 12 of 23 Nashville venues are confirmed first-party. The 8 Metro Parks community centers are all confirmed to exist and to offer pickleball per the official parks directory, but individual court counts are not yet confirmed. The Sevier Park and Smith Springs centers have full primary-source verification. Call any center directly at the number listed above before driving if exact court logistics matter.

How this guide was built

Every venue was researched against its primary source: the operator's official website, the Metro Nashville Parks pickleball page, or the official Google Business Profile. Third-party court-aggregator sites are not used as sources.

Two venues with unresolved data integrity flags — Isaac Litton Park and Hadley Park — are disclosed explicitly above. They are retained in the database pending Verifier follow-up.

Google ratings shown on the Nashville best-clubs page are fetched from the official Google Places API within a 90-day freshness window.
