About this venue
Fairbanks North Star Borough public outdoor pickleball courts at the Big Dipper Ice Arena complex (summer season). The borough invested $250,000 in 2024 for court upgrades. Operated by FNSB Parks & Recreation and the Farthest North Pickleball Club. 7–10 blacktop courts with permanent lines and portable nets; free, open to public. Winter play moves to UAF Student Recreation Center. Note: some courts affected by 2025 spring thaw damage — court count needs verification.
