Tap the team that won the rally. It handles side-out scoring the way the rulebook does — the 0–0–2 start, server 1 and server 2, side outs — calls the score in the right order, and shows who serves from which side.
Scoring and serving rules are summarised from the documents above. Undo is unlimited, so a mis-tap is never a problem.
In standard (side-out) scoring only the serving team can score. Games are to 11, win by 2. In doubles both partners serve before the serve passes to the other team — except at the very start of the game, when only one player serves, which is why the first score called is 0–0–2.
The serving team’s score, then the receiving team’s score, then the server number (1 or 2). So 4–2–1 means the serving team has 4, the receivers have 2, and the first server of the team is serving.
The first server after a side out always starts from the right-hand court. Each time the serving team wins a point, the server switches sides with their partner and serves again. The score keeper tracks this and tells you right or left on every point.
Yes — tick rally scoring and every rally scores a point, whoever served. Choose the game length (11, 15 or 21) to match your event.
Tap Undo. Every rally is saved, so you can step back as far as you need. The match is also saved on your phone, so locking the screen or refreshing the page loses nothing.
