A seeded knockout draw, a double-elimination draw so nobody goes home after one match, or round-robin groups that feed a knockout. Scores go in set by set, and group standings rank on matches, then sets, then games.

Enter each set’s games — 6–4, 3–6 … If you play a match tiebreak instead of a final set, enter it as the deciding set (e.g. 10–7); it decides the match the same way.

How it works

Set up in a minute, run it from your phone

  1. Enter the field. Paste names in seed order, or type a number to get Player 1, Player 2 … and rename later. Up to 64 entries.
  2. Pick a format. Round robin pools give everyone the same number of matches; elimination is quicker. Pools can finish with a seeded playoff, keeping players from the same pool apart in round one.
  3. Enter results. Type each set’s score or tap the winner. Winners move on, byes fill themselves, and a changed result clears anything later that depended on it.
  4. Share it. Print the bracket for the wall, or copy a link that opens the tournament — with every score — on anyone’s phone.

Scoring rules on this page are summarised from the documents above. The tool itself accepts any score, so house rules work too.

Frequently asked questions

How do you make a tennis tournament draw?

Enter the players in seed order and choose single elimination. The draw is made to the next power of two (8, 16, 32, 64); seed 1 goes to the top, seed 2 to the bottom, and the remaining seeds are spread so they cannot meet early. Any spare places become byes for the top seeds.

How should I enter a match tiebreak?

As the deciding set. A 10-point match tiebreak played instead of a third set still decides the match, so enter it in the third set boxes (for example 10–8). The match goes to whoever wins two sets.

How are round-robin groups ranked in tennis?

By matches won, then sets won minus sets lost, then games won minus games lost, then games won. That follows the order most club round robins use; if your event has its own rule (head-to-head first, say), apply it when you read the table.

Does it do consolation or compass draws?

Not as such. Double elimination is the closest built-in option: every player is guaranteed two matches, and first-round losers keep playing in the losers bracket. For a social event where everyone plays the whole time, use the round robin generator instead.

Can I run a doubles tournament?

Yes — enter one pair per line, or list individual players and choose random partners to have the tool draw the pairs.
