Group stage into a knockout — the standard padel club tournament — or a straight elimination draw. Enter your pairs, or a list of players and let it draw the pairs. For a social session where partners change every round, use the Americano generator.

Enter each set’s games. Short-format events often play one set (choose best of 1); a super tiebreak in place of the third set goes in the third set boxes.

How it works

Set up in a minute, run it from your phone

  1. Enter the field. Paste names in seed order, or type a number to get Player 1, Player 2 … and rename later. Up to 64 entries.
  2. Pick a format. Round robin pools give everyone the same number of matches; elimination is quicker. Pools can finish with a seeded playoff, keeping players from the same pool apart in round one.
  3. Enter results. Type each set’s score or tap the winner. Winners move on, byes fill themselves, and a changed result clears anything later that depended on it.
  4. Share it. Print the bracket for the wall, or copy a link that opens the tournament — with every score — on anyone’s phone.

Scoring rules on this page are summarised from the documents above. The tool itself accepts any score, so house rules work too.

Frequently asked questions

How do padel tournaments usually work?

Most club tournaments put the pairs into groups of three or four, play a round robin in each group, and send the top one or two pairs from every group into a knockout. Choose round robin above, set the number of groups, and build the knockout when the groups are done.

What is the difference between this and an Americano?

A tournament is played in fixed pairs and produces a winning pair. An Americano is a social format where partners rotate every round and each player collects the points their side wins, so it produces an individual winner. We have a separate Americano and Mexicano generator for that.

How are padel groups ranked?

By matches won, then sets won minus sets lost, then games won minus games lost, then games won. If your club breaks ties head-to-head first, apply that when reading the table.

Can I enter players and have the pairs drawn?

Yes. List the players, set Doubles entries to random partners, and the tool draws the pairs before seeding. You need an even number of players.

Does it work for short-format events?

Yes. Choose best of 1 to play one set per match, or enter a timed match’s final games in the first set boxes.
